How Electrostatic Sprays Provide Better Coverage

Our electrostatic sprayer ensures that our botanically derived disinfecting solution clings to all surfaces evenly. How does it do that?

As the liquid passes through the nozzle, a positive charge is applied. These charged droplets then repel one another and cling to surfaces, creating an even coating that is efficiently and effectively applied.

To better visualize how this works, it helps to think of the particles as tiny magnets.

Most surfaces in a facility have a negative charge, because they are naturally grounded. The electrostatic sprayer gives the vapor particles a positive charge, so like a magnet, they are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces in the room.

They are also repelled by each other, the same way two north magnetic poles of a magnet repel one another.

That means when the positively charged disinfectant is sprayed into a room, it clings to the surfaces with an even distribution, providing the disinfection your facilities need to prevent the spread of illness-causing pathogens.
